Show Me Ministries

Evangelist Danny Coffey

Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. Philippians 3:13-14

I would like to take a few minutes to introduce my self.

Greetings!

I am Danny Coffey, I was saved in October of 1967 in Springfield Missouri at the age of 24. I knew what sin was, and I was in sin. Because of my lifestyle, I began to get bothered. At that time, I was visiting several Independent Baptist churches. In the backyard of a girl I was dating, I turned to the Lord. My life was changed from that time on. Because of my desire to see souls saved, I surrendered to the ministry.

At this time in my life, I still desire to see souls saved, so I lean toward the field of evangelism. However, I am willing to be used where ever the Lord may lead: by pastoring or interim pastoring, by supplying pulpits, working in revivals, and conducting or assisting in Missions meetings. I have experience working with teenagers, in Vacation Bible Schools, starting Christian schools, and working on bus routes. I also do counseling. I am King James only and plan to die that way.

If you would like more information about my ministry or if I can be of assistance to you please feel free to contact me.

The Anvil of God´s Word

Last eve I passed beside a blacksmith´s door
And heard the anvil ring the vesper chime;
When looking in, I saw upon the floor,
Old hammers worn with beating years of time.
“How many anvils have you had,” said I,
“To wear and batter these hammers so?”
“Just one,” said he; then with a twinkling eye,
“The anvil wears the hammer out, you know.”
And so, I thought, the anvil of God´s Word,
For ages, skeptics blows have beat upon;
Yet, though the noise of falling blows was heard,
The anvil is unharmed - the hammers gone.
